The SpeedyFiber Premium Audio-Optimized SFP+ transceiver brings our audiophile fiber approach to 10Gbps. Supporting 10GBASE-LR/LW over single-mode fiber up to 2km, it gives your streaming chain plenty of bandwidth headroom while keeping the signal clean and stable from NAS and Roon Core to Lumin and DAC endpoints.

A 1310nm FP laser and PIN receiver are paired with tightly controlled jitter performance (Tx total jitter ≤0.28 UI). Power draw stays under 1.0W, so the module runs cool and stays consistent through long listening sessions. Fiber's galvanic isolation keeps electrical noise from the network side out of your audio system, which helps give you a quiet, black background.

Built-in DOM (Digital Optical Monitoring, SFF-8472) reports optical power, temperature, voltage, and laser bias current in real time. The module is fully compliant with SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431/8432, IEEE 802.3ae, and Telcordia GR-468-CORE, and it is RoHS compliant and a Class 1 laser product.

Sold individually. You need two modules per link, and a pair ships free to the US, Canada, UK, and EU.

Together, the two give you a fully optical path between your network and your audio system. Electrical noise and ground loops are cut off completely, and the link stays naturally immune to EMI/RFI. ⚠️ Compatibility & Technical Specifications

• SFP+ port required: This is a 10G module. It will NOT link in 1G-only SFP ports. If your device only supports 1G, choose our 1G version (SFP1G-LX-31-AF).

• Both ends must match: Both ends of the link need a 10G module. 10G and 1G modules cannot link to each other.

• Broad Compatibility: This module follows MSA standards and is Cisco-compatible, supporting most open platforms like QNAP, MikroTik, TP-Link, Netgear, and ASUS SFP+ ports (such as RT-BE88U, RT-AX89X). Note: It is NOT compatible with ARISTA or INTEL switches.

• RJ45-only devices: Models such as Netgear GS105Ev2, GS108Ev3, and GS110TP (v1/v2) have no SFP+ port, so they cannot use this module.
